my old friends my grateful

       
          This time, I feel like saying thanks to everyone who had introduce me first to the books and movies I felt in love with. The first name pop up in my head is Nurul Fiqi. She is the best friend I could ask from heaven. She was the one who introduced me to Detective Conan when I was on first year in junior high school. Umm, actually, the first time I saw Conan was at wall bulletin in my elementary school. My friend, M.Fajar Rahadian, painted Conan and put that picture there. That time, I remember I said, “What is this odd picture and who the hell painted this? Somebody should’ve told him that a kid wearing man’s suit would look awkward.” 
         Then, since I read the first Conan comic lent by Fiqi, I just kept reading, borrowing, borrowing to someone else, and buying, and so on. I became a maniac. I just felt sorry for happened saying those evil words to Fajar’s picture when I learnt that he kept that comic spread all over his room. Thanks God, he could not see me turned into a Conan maniac when I was in junior high school since he and his family moved to other town, somewhere in Middle Java if I was not mistaken.
          In junior high school, I remembered allied with Nurul Fiqi, Meydiza Fahrefi, Wara Zus Prayogi Saddam, and Hidayat in that comic freaking circle. We used to bring comics to class even if that was completely forbidden. Wara was the one who introduced me to Death Note. I remembered we had our personal Death Note covered in black paper with “Death Note” written in the cover. My allies then turn to Naruto and I thought they were crazy about them. I, on the other hand, didn’t like ninja or anything like that, so I kept on Conan only since Death Note series got finished.
           Fiqi was also the one who introduced me to action movies. Before, I love peeking from my bedroom on night to watch movies played on TV. Then, when we were on the last year in junior high school, we watched Constantine on her computer. Since that time, I became movie freak and the fan of Keanu Reeves hehe. Yet, Constantine is the movie I love most beside Harry Potter and Pirates of Caribbean. We were so crazy about them. If I am not mistaken, Artemis Fowl was also the great book she asked me to read to. Also, I read Buffy the Vampire Slayer because of her suggestion.
          I was not sure who had introduced me first to Darren Shan. It could be Fiqi, or my cousin Ria Yulia. I remember read that series to book number five when I was in junior high school. Then I stopped because I found that series were too confusing and was not interesting anymore. Ria Yulia is the one who introduced me to American TV series, Supernatural. She found that on Saturday midnight TV channel. Since that time, I became Supernatural freak.    
          About Harry Potter, I can’t recall who introduce me first or I just had found out about it on TV news by myself. What I remember is I and my friends were so madly in love with it. Who’s not? I remembered copied so many Harry Potter pictures, wallpapers, and so on from Finda Dila Afriya’s computer because she used to get them from many sources. We read the books and thought that those books were completely beyond the imagination.
           Anggara Eka Putra Rushe with Ika Klamazetta’s full help was the ones who had given me Twilight as birthday gift in my last year on high school. First reading it, I thought it was not so great. I was lost in my thought since the last Harry Potter released. I was curious about the ending of Twilight series so I kept buying all the series until it finished. Truthfully, I think the series are good enough yet I found other vampire series that were better.
          Perhaps, I have to say thanks to Detective Conan’s writer whom I learnt about Sherlock Holmes and Agatha Christy books. I knew about Sherlock first when I read about “dancing dolls” in Conan. Since that time, I started reading Sherlock Holmes books and I already read them all when I was in high school. Also, I read about “The ABC murders” from Conan series. I spread my reach to Agatha series and love Mr.Poirot, Tommy and Tuppence. Yet, I haven’t read all the books from her, tough.

          I didn’t know since when, but I love suspense and I read many books by Sidney Sheldon, Marry Higgins Clark, James Patterson, Irving Wallace, and so on. I think that’s why I love action movies.
          Dwi putri Oktaviance is my great friend that I think everybody in this world wants a humble friend like her. She introduced me to, umm, no book exactly. Puput, as we call her, interested more to teen lit that I was not interested to. She is so melodramatic, but also the best Ms.Organizer I’ve ever met. She remembered everything. I used to depend on her memory about my last exam score when teacher asked me because I didn’t even remember anything. She was the one whom I waited on morning to ask her what homework that will be checked today because I hadn’t made it last night. I confess, I am such lazy and forgetful person and I often forget my homework or just so lazy to do it. However, I never cheat on exam. I just don’t like it and wondering why people do that.
          I feel like I should write something about another dear friend, Vonny Syarah but I just don’t know what about. The only book I remember I read from her is about how to read your palm haha. We found that book when we dug her room up to find something to read. Of course, I have already forgotten anything written in side by days so our short ambition to be fortuneteller ended. Umm actually, I read lot of magazines from her. I did.
